Zero Gravity sent club representation to the BCC B tournament on Sunday.  Charles, Ben, Jim, Matt, Nate, and Tracey went undefeated in pool play, and cruised through the semi final match against Lakeside VBC 16U, winning two of the three games.  Fatigue set in during the final match, and the team lost to UVA in two games.  However, everyone played well, played well together, and overall was a great tournament.  Nice job guys!

3/29 - Two in a row!  ZG comes from behind in finals to beat a very strong Boomer's team in three.  ZG eked out a 1st place draw from pool play, played strong in the semi final match against Hack Fu, then lost the first game of finals BIG. But the team rebounded - came out with good setting leadership, aggressive serving, and better blocking to win game two in dramatic fashion.  Taking momentum into the 3rd game, the team got out to an early lead 8-3.  Superb serving, great defense and blocking helped keep the Boomer's at bay.  ZG wins finals 13-25, 30-28, 15-13.  Well done team!

3/22 - Zero gravity gets its 1st win of the season travelling to Siena college.  This marks the second tournament win in a row for ZG.  The team went undefeated in pool play and playoffs.  Well done! Stats are posted here.

1/12 - Zero Gravity finishes 2nd at the BCC tournament. Amid eight different lineups throughout the day, ZG showed character in the finals as it lost in three games to (23-25, 25-21, 13-15) Boomers.

12/31-  Zero Gravity Club will be partnering with Mozeo.com to improve communications and information within the club. Mozeo.com is a local free service that allows txt messages to be sent to groups. It allows members to communicate to everyone without having to send multiple txts. Their website is www.mozeo.com

11/17-  Zero gravity club makes a solid showing at the kick off tournament of the season.  Crankenstein finished 3rd using four different lineups and Team Zero Gravity put forth a solid effort to finish 7th in a field of 29 teams.

Injuries occured on both teams, and players stepped up to fill the voids.  Ben Evans was inserted into the middle for Zero Gravity after Chad sprained his ankle in the first game of the day.   Pat Furman of Crankenstein took his Libero cap in the quarter final match to play for OH Mike Forster, who also rolled his ankle.

Crankenstein rallied back from a first game loss to win the match in three games.  The quarter final match was the most exciting and suspenseful match of the day, and showed the character of the veterans in the club.  Crankenstein went on to lose in the semi finals to the 2nd place team, Boomer's.
